Jiangsu’s postal business volume sees growth of 15.6% year-on-year

According to the Postal Administration of Jiangsu Province was informed that this year, the province"s postal express industry market size has been running at a high level, with the growth rate from January to April higher than the national average.
Data show that from January to April, the province"s postal industry mailing business volume reached 3.91 billion pieces, an increase of 15.6%. Among them, the total volume of express business was 2.82 billion pieces, an increase of 17.1%. In particular, in April, the province"s postal industry mailing business volume reached 1.04 billion pieces, an increase of 53.7% year-on-year.
Convenient logistics lead to a rapidly growing consumption market. This year, Jiangsu’s urban and rural delivery logistics service system has been further improved. 220 new delivery logistics integrated service stations were built at rural community party group service centers. Courier enterprises have been actively expanding the storage and preservation business of cold chain logistics, inbound logistics, warehouse and distribution integration and other business, while service industry chain supply chain capabilities continue to improve. International freight routes restored in an orderly manner, with the cargo volume proportion of Sunan Shuofang and Nanjing Lukou Airport increasing. It has been analyzed that as internet commerce sales opens soon, the postal express industry’s development momentum will be further released.
